Robert Redd once again under an azure blue skyas often the case, his Lady Redd was by his side, this time in the medieval town of Montecatini Terme in the beauteous mountains of Tuscany, Italy. Even there in Italy, Lady Redd was “One helluva hot tomato™.” Redd thought, as they dined in the piazza. I arrived at the temple on the hill as the sun was setting. The lake below stretched for miles and sparkled like diamonds on a bed of blue velvet. The temple looked more beautiful today then ever, as if dressed for a festival, with perfect red tulips and cherry blossoms lining every path. Blue birds circled my head and sang a joyous greeting.

a poem set to music. You
pour from somewhere
unknown, Your Melody
sweet and true and
given to all. I but need to
forget where I think
You are and let You Be.

Blue Sky Robert Miles Chords

Thus, I do not find You in
the words but between them.
I do not find You in the
notes but behind them.
Oh, when I know that I
don't know I no longer
block Your Way. It is then
I hear the Melody that
has lived forever and it
sings to me of Heaven.

ALL ROADS

All roads that lead to God are good.
What matters it, your faith or mine?
Both center at the goal divine Miles

of love's eternal brotherhood.
A thousand creeds have come and gone,
but what is that to you and me?
Creeds are but branches of a tree,
the root of love lives on and on.

The Temple on the Hill - for the people of Japan

I ARRIVED AT THE TEMPLE ON THE HILL AS THE SUN WAS SETTING. THE LAKE BELOW STRETCHED FOR MILES AND SPARKLED LIKE DIAMONDS ON A BED OF BLUE VELVET. THE TEMPLE LOOKED MORE BEAUTIFUL TODAY THEN EVER, AS IF DRESSED FOR A FESTIVAL, WITH PERFECT RED TULIPS AND CHERRY BLOSSOMS LINING EVERY PATH. BLUE BIRDS CIRCLED MY HEAD AND SANG A JOYOUS GREETING.
KOKOPELLI SAT IN THE COURTYARD PLAYING THE SONG OF LIFE ON HIS FLUTE AS I ENTERED QUIETLY TO MEDITATE WITH THE MONKS. THEY SAT IN PERFECT STILLNESS IN FRONT OF BUDDAH'S SHINING IMAGE BREATHING IN UNISON, DRAWING IN THE RADIENT, HEALING LIGHT OF GOD THAT FILLED THE AIR.
JESUS WHO SAT AMOUNG THEM CAME TO MY SIDE AND STOOD WITH ME AS THE MONKS FILED PAST AND THROUGH THE TEAK DOORS. HE TOOK MY HAND AND LED ME OUTSIDE. BELOW US THE COURTYARD WAS FILLED WITH PEOPLE OF EVERY COLOR EMBRACING AND BOWING. JESUS WHISPERED, “WE ARE WELCOMING THEM HOME.”
A CHILL OF EXCITMENT PASSSED OVER ME AND I RAN DOWN THE STEPS HUGGING FIRST ONE PERSON THEN ANOTHER. I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE THEM. THEY GREETED ME AS A SISTER, A LONG LOST FRIEND. SOON WE WERE ALL CRYING TEARS OF JOY AS JESUS HELD A SMILING ASIAN CHILD HIGH IN THE AIR FOR ALL TO SEE. HE PLACED HER IN HER MOTHERS ARMS AS THE CHILDREN FLOCKED TO HIS SIDE TO BE LIFTED ON HIGH.
THE MONKS, SPORTING HAPPY GRINS, TRANSFORMED INTO BEINGS OF LIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES. THEY PASSED FROM SPIRT TO SPIRIT GENTLY BREATHING THE BREATH OF LIFE UPON THEM. THE BREATH OF LIFE SWIRLED AROUND THEIR BODIES AND RUSHED INTO THEIR MOUTHS, SETTING THEM AGLOW. ALL MEMORY OF PAIN AND SADNESS WAS ERASED IN THAT INSTANT AND THEY KNEW THEY WERE TRULY “HOME.”

The Righteous One - An Interfaith Poem

For untold ages has he walked the Earth.
From his high and etherial abode
he watched her fiery birth
and through the millenia her growth-awesome and wild,
watching and patiently waiting like a loving mother with her child.
And since her coming of age countless aeons ago
has he sailed her oceans and walked all her lands, high and low
seeking, ever seeking to bring to humankind
life's great and imperishable prize
in diverse manner, in diverse guise.
As rich man, as poor man, as teacher and priest,
from North to South, West to East
has He been a gigantic catalyst for change,
his survived words, and deeds powerful and wise
far , far into the future do they range.
Through the millenia has his radiant star existed
and through the millenia has mankind resisted
save for the few who intuitively knew,
who saw deep and true.
Like the revelation and beauty of a fresh new morn
were their souls reborn.
'Tis time now for a great revelation to be revealed,
for a stupendous ages old truth to be unsealed,
that the divisive barriers between peoples
may be healed.
Know that all the Great spiritual redeemers
of bygone ages were all by the self same cosmic spirit informed,
from Moses to Osiris, from Hermes to Zoroaster
Jesus and Mohammed, all by the One divine, omniscient spirit led.
Known through the ages as the Righteous One,
the nameless and limitless radiance,
the Christ and the Iman Madi,
His influence and light is all of life's reality.
Through the millenia, in many guises has he walked
teaching and healing in perpetual serenity.
He is the Master of masters,
in the highest cosmic circle
epitome of divine love, the creative word,
and throughout the cosmos
is His blessed and loving mind heard.
